I still think G&H will be gone by the start of next season. If it takes us winning the league and they get a premium on the price they paid, I'll take that If it takes the banks whipping the carpet from under the feet of these clowns and DIC offering what is probably a fair price in the circumstances, I'd take that too. As that fella said, it'd be a brave bank to put Liverpool into receivership/administration. Can you imagine the fallout if the bank cost us the league championship? They'd lose / have to spend more that £500m to repair the bad publicity/withdrawals that took place as a result.

From my point of view there are a few things at play here. G&H recruit a go between they parade as helping them to get the loan re-financed but everyone else sees as being facilitators of a new group taking over. G&H are holding out on price and the 3rd party (let's say it's DIC) get Keith Harris to tell the world that Liverpool as a financial concern are not 'all that'. This demonstrates to the world at large that it's a buyer's market, HBOs have G&H by the balls and DIC are offering a reasonable price and G&H are being un-realistic with their demands. I see this article as a major positive and it makes me more confident that G&H's exit is iminent.Time will tell, though

I had the pleasure of watching that on the internet. Fantastic second half performance. To be fair, City looked a fair side in the latter half of the first half. Torres obviously gets the plaudits but Riera played really well and so did Masch. Skrtel's injury looks really nasty, they gave him oxygen at one point. Fantastic three points !!

I can see why it was chanted, I can see the warped (in my opinion) logic. But I'd never chant anything like that. I can't see what there is to gain from it. It's not witty, it's not going to deter our bitterest rivals from chanting murderers at us again. It just gives more ammo to the press, other fans and other d****eads who want to have a go at LFC.
