Don't see the point in comparing Cisse's goals/minute ratio to Owen, RVN, Henry when he hasn't played in the same position as them for most of the season. He scores goals, always will, but will no doubt leave at the end of the season. One thing does surprise me though. Rafa doesn't strike me as a guy who likes to take risks. On saturday when he took Crouch off, he must have known that Morientes would have closed Chelsea down better than Cisse was ever going to, so why not bring Morientes on before Cisse if that was what he wanted? Presumably he was hoping we could catch Chelsea on the break by using Cisse's pace. That we didn't, I think was down to a combination of Cisse's positioning, the type of balls coming out of our defence and the fact Chelsea had thrown all caution to the wind.

Best player by a country mile this year I reckon. His part in the second half in Istanbul will have influenced a lot of people. He seems to have enjoyed his football this season, having finally made the decision to stay as well.

We did sit too deep and didn't make the best use of Cisse, but thought he could have closed down their players more often, but he doesn't appear to be able to multi task. Thought Nando did quite well when he came on as he helped steady the ship.

Chelsea are the best team on the planet and we are lucky to be on the same pitch as them. Luton should really have knocked us out earlier in the competition, so the game on saturday is our cup final. That's my perception as well, don't think the FA have produced specific armbands before for example - I assume this is because the 15th fell on a saturday (and at Easter?). Well done to Celtic as well.

If you think the service provided by our ticket office is exemplary then I am pleased for you. The company they outsource most of the telephone sales to have done a good job this season tbf. They demonstrate efficiency and organisational skills for a start.
