The entire region is a basket case - "The armpit of Africa" as it's known. To be fair, Ghana's probably the best out of a horrible collection of holiday destinations up there.

If you asked me today if I'd rather have van Nistelrooy for 19m, Nugent for 100k, Darren Bent for 2.5m or Anelka for 500k I'd take van Nistelrooy every single time, irrespective of the price tag. The man was about as close as it came to guaranteed goals since Rush. How many games did he win for United after they'd turned in a terrible performance, but kept it at 0-0?
