I thought we were controlling the game after we scored to be honest and were simply unlucky, gave away a silly freekick, woeful goalkeeping and a lucky deflection/bounce cost us.. oh and a nailed on pen not given...wouldn't say we were s*** myself but then i was watching on Telly for a change so obviously couldn't see what you can pick up on in the ground. oh sit down

We were simply unlucky, and have been 2 games on the bounce. We didn't play badly, on another day we get one maybe even two pens there and we get the rub of the green with some of our crosses bouncing our way on the 2nd ball, everything fell perfectly for West Ham's goals. The deflection for their 2nd wrong footed Matip and it fell for them with the keeper in no mans land, 99 times out of 100 that doesn't happen, yep Karius could and should have done better but there you go, Klopp has brought him in and i trust if he doesn't shape up sharpish he will replace him, our manager is no mug, make no mistake he will be fuming. I can't imagine what must have been said in the dressing room at half time. We are still playing well though and could easily be 5 points better off from the last 2 games, Hendo was bossing it today and unlucky not to score another worldie it just didn't happen for us... guess what, Chelsea, Arsenal and the rest will have similar games, away to Palace for Chelsea let's see how they get on there, likewise Arsenal v City.. points will be dropped and won and we...well we just have to believe and support this team because their ceiling is so so high, i don't believe they are even close to it yet. Klopp has said himself the team are still a work in progress, it's obvious we need more depth to the squad for example...but it will get better and there will be additions to the squad to strengthen further. If this is the baseline to work from god help everyone else next season..keep believing lads and we might..might just do something special..it's going to be an interesting few weeks, how good is it to be up there and even talking about it though!
