Let Gerrard play more centrally with Garcia covering the right and playing he and Kewell off Cisse - think those 3 would be good against the Wigan defence. Strongest team possible against Arsenal and use Cisse on the counter. Against Man Utd i hope we play a fairly attacking line up and go at them. Maybe have Xabi on the bench and rest him for the Benfica game. I'd rest Carra and Finnan against Benfica and play Kromkamp and Agger.

It's also down to a lack of movement from central midfield..players who are natural at getting into the box etc. Sissoko and Xabi don't get forward enough so the forwards get isolated and we end up crossing from outside the 18 yard line, which also leads to us not being in a position to pick up the knock down / 2nd ball. And when Kewell / Gerrard / Cisse do get to the byline, how many times does someone make a run to the near post ?

Crespo's goal yesterday - Chelsea pack their tall players around the far post, Crespo makes a darting run to the front post and Lampard finds him with a well taken free-kick. Movement and delivery like that doesn't seem possible for us.

He should be given a run in the centre. Crouch and Morientes aren't playing too well so give Cisse a chance. Played well yesterday to say it's not his natural position. Get Kewell and Gerrard playing low crosses, through balls to him and see if he can prove us wrong.
