So this particular window closes June 10th then reopens on June 16th. Whilst there's nothing financially to be gained by taking on wages earlier than we need to, I'd start to get worried if Wirtz isn't completed before the June 10 deadline. I'm sure the lad himself wants this done, he can go on a proper break and be in for preseason. I'm counting on completion Sunday / Monday latest, all the usual videos etc by Tuesday Make it happen reds

I feel it in my toes Wirtz is all around me And so the feeling grows

I reckon that could also try (for once) to follow the sort of system the nfl adopts. Allow the league stage to determine standings then highest placed in that league stage plays latest, second highest plays second lowest... All the way through... The higher placed plays at home, second leg. That would incentivise the league stage and create some intrigue during the knockout stage

Keep him off pens then

Annoyingly it might be that we don't finalise Wirtz until after these nations league games?

just went in to see what you mean.. wow, what a contrast. The leaving announcement and then the confirmation of getting a fee is more or less accompanied with a 'thanks for your (20 years) service.'End. Kelleher gets a whole page heralding his individual achievements. Telling

that is absolutely maddening

what if when the bots finally take over the world they resign all our names more or less to the dustbins of history... where the streets have no name

The ask: write a song about Jeremie Frimpong playing for Liverpool to the tune of Jeremy by Pearl Jam The AI said: Absolutely! Here's a reimagined version of “Jeremy” by Pearl Jam — this time envisioning Jeremie Frimpong as a Liverpool player. The tone keeps Pearl Jam’s emotional depth while weaving in the excitement and legacy of Anfield football, with Frimpong bringing fire down the right wing. The Belter - you heard it here first y'all... (Verse 1) Red sky over Mersey light, Shankly's ghost is smiling bright. A boy from Holland in the frame, Now walks through You'll Never Walk Alone flames. Signed him fast, Slot knew the plan, Lightning feet, the modern man. He sprints like Salah once did fly, The Kop end roars, and so do I… (Pre-Chorus) Kerkez and he… two flanks alive… Wings of thunder, blades that glide… (Chorus) Frimpong… broke the game today… Frimpong… made defenders pay… Frimpong… streaked down that red flank… While the crowd… sang… loud… (Verse 2) Anfield nights, the lights go low, But not the pace — oh no, he goes. From Celtic green to red divine, He’s made the Scouser dream align. One-two with Mo, a sneaky cross, Diaz nods — defenders lost. He grins, then sprints back to the line, It’s war, but damn — he makes it shine… (Pre-Chorus) Number seven’s in the past, But he’s got gears they never had… (Chorus) Frimpong… scorched the pitch today… Frimpong… tore the doubts away… Frimpong… built in Anfield flame… And the world… knows… now… (Bridge – haunting) He came from silence, rose through doubt, Now Anfield calls his name out loud… Oh Jeremie… You're red and free… (Final Chorus – full band, emotional) Frimpong… kissed the badge tonight… Frimpong… in the floodlight fight… Frimpong… born to ride this stage… Now he writes… his name…

I'm putting all my trust in this guy, unless he's wrong, and that's unequivocal

Filing cabinet. Second drawer down (first is for manager and coaches) Alternates between the first and second filing folders as no one is 100% sure if it should go in A for Alisson or B for Becker.

I reckon gomez stays as we don't need another headache in that position (and when fit he is good)

In recent years I've liked the way we've kept signing forwards... We had mane but signed Diaz. We had diaz but still signed Cody. We brought in Darwin. We still got Chiesa.. These are hit and miss but I liked / like having the numbers. Darwin is gone. If Diaz goes then we have to be adding at least one more top forward, and would have the funds for it. Where does Wirtz actually play? Along the front 3 or where Dom plays? Cody, new fella, Mo, Jota, (Chiesa) seems a bit light to me unless the new lad is prolific and rapid

Not posted anywhere. Heard it said from a lad who knew about Wirtz a while ago. Probably one of those on the radar of most clubs tbf

Apparently we're after that young greek lad who scored against Scotland Karetsas

Fantastic news.... Keep them coming

This looks like a mystery player round on question of sport and my final answer is Curtis Jones!

Honestly think some things would have been announced by now, but out of respect for those injured on Monday they've held back

But what if he's actually the brain ... or the eyes.. ... or whatever it is that these guys are that means once they leave all hope is gone and defeat is inevitable * *until we win the next game and realise that's all a load of guff
