Chewie

Ya know there was a whole range of thoughts about what really would matter for these lads and this season, and tonight I think we do see just how much emotional energy was on the lads this summer. They don't look up to speed and it's totally understandable why. It's gonna be a few weeks or more before they get that back. Big to all of them.

Not this again

Kinda ironic that the etymology of giovanni Leoni reveals the name to mean 'jolly laughs'

You'd also have to think we are 100% confident of getting at least one extra player for the forward line if Doak leaves

when you see that fire symbol on the thread and check in to find out that for once it's actually, genuinely sh!thot...

Who the heck are Bournemouth gonna start tomorrow evening.. they've sold 3 of their back 4 and have now sold their striker so we can get Isak?!

Isakly

Palace will be pragmatic and the closer it gets to the end of the window they will know that his value is falling to 10-15 million in January. Our problem is that Chelsea are panicking and so may come in with a bigger fee to get the deal done

So the game didn't matter and the boss needed to get game time into the legs that will matter... And he chose Elliott over Rio or even Nyoni with Dom moving forward. That doesn't say Harvey's got a future here. It just says the boss is not yet going to trust those two lads in games that aren't already won. It also tells us Chiesa is not part of the plan Which in turn says we are light in terms of numbers that the boss will rely on to turn losses into draws and draws into wins. We are at least one central defender light. He has 6 midfielders he trusts inc Wirtz He has 4 forwards he trusts inc Wirtz We need reinforcements or Harvey is going nowhere, and yet the boss doesn't truly trust him.

Virg can't hide Those Bobby eyes And that smile Don't tell a lie Seeing Slot be a sly Kind a guy There ain't no way To hide those Bobby eyes

Right... That should help with making it absolutely clear there is no room for complacency

Ah well.. We lost that game over a period of 25 minutes or so in the second half

Bring on kweeve for the pens?

Get that la croix lad in instead

So... It's not related to today (Mo does look a bit off the pace).. But I've a hunch that Mo will go the same way as Henderson and will go to the Saudi league (or MLS but most likely Saudi) next summer.

Lad still got more love than 66

Even if it is hurting us at present

It really sounds like there's more to this than meets the eye, and they know for some reason they're over a barrel

Actually.. Just found the report by Craig hope covering this. That's gone completely under the radar.. They have him on a 3 year contract but the manager says they are not in a position to enforce it. Don't think I've ever heard any manager say that.

Where's this quote from? That's quite a remarkable statement if he actually made it

Of course this did happen and right up to John Terry stepped up to take what would have been the winning penalty I thought I knew what I wanted, but.... At that moment I didn't care

Nunez will always prompt a rueful smile. The lad came in, could be a blur of energy, occupy defenders, track back, and (to repeat) was absolutely on fire for a period during his second season. He just could not master offside or finish when he should have. If 50% of those had went in he'd be worth double what we sold him for. He also bagged those 2 goals at Newcastle when we were down to 10 men that meant I almost had no voice the next day for the daughters wedding! So thanks Darwin.. You were daft but you left with a league medal in the bag

Well you have to give him that!

That's a wrong turn in the direction of later, not now

Brendan was a client of yours!!?? (did you fix his teeth..or do the portrait.... the plot thickens)
