  1. This. I'm 100% fine with not building a side around the highest paid player being a right back who cannot lead that line, and having to accommodate him as captain in about 3-4 seasons when the legs start to fall off. He's a lot of miles on the clock and we definitely got the best years out of him before that whole inverted nonsense started a couple of seasons back. Arne has done well this season to just simplify things for him and us. Trent has fantastic abilities and a bunch of stats to back up how effective he is and has been, but I reckon our manager and the boffins are completely chilled with building a team without him in it and have a clear plan to do so
  2. WHAT! when did this happen! Wow.. Totally out of the blue
  3. Basically we were champions when we walked onto the pitch at spurs. We won the league before, during and after the game.
  4. What about that set piece coach now... Tube
  5. Who's the ball boy in the red kit?
  6. Reluctant hero Allen bids quiet but proud farewell - https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/c705ld99qz5o No mention at all of that miss
  7. you think that if Darwin intends to smash all records that HMV need have any fear this will actually be achieved!
  8. Score 20 more goals
  9. A few aims for the rest of the season would be Break 90 pts Concede the least in the PL (arsenal 3 less than us at the minute) More points than Everchester United Mo breaks whatever the goals & assists record is Joe Gomez scores a goal
  10. There's few things more nauseating than that pretentious set piece coach gesticulating as if he's controlling every free kick and corner. If he was properly coaching them they'd know what to do for themselves. What an idiot
  11. Andrew to his friends
  12. Our midfield was great yesterday. They are an easy team to bully. In fact, for what we needed they were the perfect team to play against. They've little strength, pace or snide. We had a glorious day in the sunshine playing amazing football.. we still need to add to the core of that midfield. But to reiterate - our midfield was great yesterday
  13. Anyone got a link to slot doing the fist pumps?
  14. The club seems to do a good job in supporting the diversity of its players, some christian, some muslim, some maybe of other traditions, some probably overtly of no religion. Club was getting a lot of praise for how it accommodated a prayer space for sadio for instance. Some players cross themselves, others kiss the turf, some fast during particular seasons, others just enjoy the water break that comes from a reasonable accommodation of the practice. All of the traditions represented on the pitch have associations with good and bad representatives of that tribe, religious and non-religious alike. The players on the pitch ain't responsible for the distortions of their tribe. One of the positive representations of the club is to see how those who are obviously overtly Christian and Muslim and of no religion respect and value one another as teammates and just mates. And they all won the league together Well in lads. Well in Cody. Well in Mo.
  15. Ah... Sky just showed it.. Got the crowd singing for klopp
  16. This is just brilliant Simply brilliant
  17. Looking forward to the James Pearce 150000 wow piece on how the league was won in South America
  18. Guaranteed to STILL be ahead of Everchester United after all have played 34 games
  19. Asked chatgpt for a 50 word max summary Liverpool’s Dutch trio—Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch, and Cody Gakpo—are thriving under manager Arne Slot. Van Dijk has evolved into a deep-lying playmaker, enhancing Liverpool’s build-up play. Gravenberch has excelled in a new defensive midfield role, while Gakpo's return to the left wing has revitalized his form. Seems fair enough
  20. All in all... Quite the career that no one would have seen coming when he joined them. Won both the PL and the FA Cup and played in the Champions league quarter finals, all for Leicester.. Pretty mad that!
  21. anyways - that'll do!
