XG is such a weird metric, that I'm still not entirely convinced it's not just randomly generated. BBC had the Chelsea match at 0.88 for them and 1.93 for us. I know their first goal was probably a 0.05 XG, but Fernandes headed wide from 4 yards out when it looked easier to hit the target, and they seemed to have more chances aside from that, so the 0.88 is very odd. The almost 2 goals for us looks right though. Salah, Szoboszlai and Isak all should have done far better with the chances they got.
