Never heard of him, but with a name like that, I can picture the headlines.

Who is this Pongolle guy? Go get him Rafa.

There seems to be quite an obsession with Keane on these forums. He has undoubtfully done a good job so far this season, but its very early days. Moreover, I could fill this thread with the names of managers who did well with a small club, only to fail miserably at a bigger club. Gerry Francis anyone?

Shhhhh ....

Does Crouchy's recent excellent form mean the end of Bellamy's Anfield career? Kuyt is going nowhere, Veronin is coming in, Crouch will no doubt stay, and with a high profile striker likely to come in, where does Bellamy fit in? Aston Villa?

I agree that it looks a 50-50 tie. Tell you what, I am really glad that we got Mascherano. I'll use Momo at their pitch to hassle them into the ground (Baric style), then use Mascherano's calm, discipline and distribution at Anfield to keep things tight.

Alves, for starters.

True, but no one in their right mind would come in with a big offer before being sure that his serious injuries are behind him. Cue a massive offer from Jol and Glen ... Me too.

Rafa never seemed interested, which a lot of people seemed to find puzzling, especially considering the Spanish connection. I guess Rafa knows a thing ot two after all.

Agreed. Reina Arbeloa Carra Sami Riise Pennant Stevie Xabi Speedy Bellamy Crouch

Oh please god, not Raul. Way past his sale-by-date.

Harry looking lean and fit: Pre PSV Training Session

I'll settle for 0-0 in both games. That will show Slur Alex how exactly important their away goal was ...

But to be fair to that inbred w*****, he did pass it straight to Robinson. Hardly his fault the fat b*****d kicked air instead of the ball ...

If I hear about him moaning about that "phanton" goal one more time ...

Arsenal not playing well recently, whilst Bolton seem to be on a good run. How great will it be if Big Sam claims the last CL spot ahead of Arsene ?! What with their stadium payments, no CL football will put a big f**k off dent in Wenger's summer spending budget. Typical, no OM when you need him most.

My sentiments exactly. Hate Chelsea too, but anyone rather than the Manc t***s.

Same formation as Arsenal, with two changes: Reina Finnan Carra Agger Aurelio Pennant Mascherano Alonso Riise Gerrard Crouch

The thing is, there are not too many top class wingers around, especially ones that are potentially available for a transfer, right or left wing, so it doesn't really matter how much money Rafa will have at his disposal. All players, especially overseas ones, deserve a second season, moreso Speedy who IMO has the potential to become a very good player.

I agree. I think that Lennon is somewhat overrated. He is quick, skillful, but his end product is still lacking at times. Spurs will be looking for at least Carrick money, and that price is too high for a player who is not yet the final product.
