    A song for Kuyt

Excuse my ignorance but what is the tune for this song?
  2. Totally agree. The references to him being a "P*ss head" are even more small time.
  3. What if he'd run out of food at home and had just nipped out on a whim? It's b*llocks to suggest they can't go to takeaways because they might bump into p*ssed up n*bheads. Should they avoid weddings as well?

    Daily Manc

Unfortunately the mentality of the people who stoke up the rumours makes it difficult for them to go away, as they are too f*cking stupid to dismiss them. The bloke next to me at the game (who had borrowed a ST) came out with a classic. He had been told by a doorman in town that the bloke at the centre of the allegations is called "Pancake" and the reason why Bellamy has not been playing is because Gerrard filled him for winding him up about it at training on Friday. If people can't fathom that stories like this originate from bluesh*te then they've got no hope.
  5. Rafael Benitez today brushed off reported criticisms from a Liverpool director and insisted: "I only want to concentrate on football." One of this morning's tabloid newspapers has carried an interview with a senior figure of the LFC board who has gone public with his concerns over how the season is panning out. Benitez is aware of the story, but was today in a relaxed mood as he refused to get embroiled in a war of words. He said: "I have too much respect for the club and for the board to talk about this. I prefer to speak about it in private. "I learnt a good phrase off John Toshack when he was in Spain - 'no comment'. "This story hasn't affected preparations for the game this weekend though. We have been working on the match for two or three days and we will continue to do so." ----------------------------- Sounds ok. I expect someone is gonna get lamped in private.
  6. Utter b*llocks.
  7. Didn't this happen to the mancs a couple of seasons ago and the fans kicked up a fuss? It's a f*cking joke.
  8. I'm flabbergasted people are opting for Jerzy
  9. Gerrard is the best attacking midfielder around. He is capable of defending very well (RB in Istanbul), but isn't disciplined enough to do it when put in the centre as his natural instinct is to go forward.
  10. Watching it at home. Good. England midfielder Steven Gerrard has revealed his frustration at Markus Merk after speaking to the referee about the booking he picked up against Macedonia. The yellow card in the 0-0 draw means Gerrard will miss Wednesday's Euro 2008 qualifier in Croatia and leaves England with a selection dilemma. "I was really disappointed with the referee's decision," said Gerrard, 26. "I told him I got the ball and he agreed with me but said the momentum took me into the player." Liverpool star Gerrard added: "England against Croatia is a great fixture. "As a player, you want to be involved in all the big games, so I'm going home really frustrated, not just with not getting three points but also with missing the Croatia game. "I will be cheering the boys on from home. Hopefully, they will turn in a good performance and get the result."
  11. Neither is Bellamy's though who started the season brightly but is struggling now.

    Riise

To be honest i think it is. The guy is class. Lets not forget either that Riise hasn't been a top LB all of his LFC career, only recently. That said i reckon we've got the joint 2nd best LB along with Ashley cole, who is a slightly better defender than JAR imo.

    Riise

Riise is class and is improving all the time.................however Heinze is the best LB in the premiership.
  14. Stick with Kuyt and Bellamy. The goals are bound to come sooner or later and they are still developing an understanding which has shown flashes of brilliance at times in the last few games.
  15. Absolute b*llocks. We took the piss out of Chelsea in the Charity Shield without him even being on the pitch. Last season we bossed loads of games with him playing right sided.

    Kuyt

    Worst thread ever?
  17. He's done ok. Think he's ready for a rest myself. At the moment he's not really offering anything the Gonzales doesn't, who would offer more going forward imo.
  18. Willow?
  19. Which has got everything to do with Abramovich
  20. My language is a disgrace
  21. Obviously to a certain extent but when you're sat on a fortune a lot of people would look at bettering themselves rather than earning a bit of extra cash for doing nothing. Especially when its playing footy!
  22. Has Jerzy turned down moves based on personal terms? I didn't think anyone had shown any concrete interest. If you've earned £8M over 4 years and want to earn another £2M contributing f*ck all rather than doing what you're actually paid to do* and love (questionable) means you're motivated by money = greedy tw*t. If he'd earned £80K rather than £8M then you might have a point. He's f*ckin minted for Christs sake. *whilst also earning a much better wage than your average man.
  23. I don't think people are saying Diao has no right to sit out his contract rather they are quesitoning his professionalism. He is a professional footballer after all. He isn't playing football though and knows there's more chance of me growing a third testicle than him being picked at all next season. He didn't set the fee for his transfer or his wages but after 4 years of earning the best part of £8M whilst contributing absolutley f*ck all to LFC you'd have thought he might be up for a new challenge and actually play some competitive football to prove himself at a high level. Obviously not. That's up to him but he's a greedy tw*t end of.
  24. What a tw*t. He's earned enough here to set him up for life and now he's turning down the chance to go to Spain. He'll hardly be on pittance there either. Sod off.
  25. Not according to Bascombe today who says Carra has long forgotten about it. Some fans need to try and do the same. It was a bad challenge but it happens in football, our players have committed worse. Get over it.
