  1. Rafa had two holding midfielders in the crushing machine didn't he which lined up 4-2-3-1 i think? Albelda and Baraja tended to sit in front of a 3 of Aimar and two wide players with Carew/Mista up front. Could easily be applied to our squad.
  2. Tabloid paper in sensationlist headline shocker Hardly ground breaking
  3. I know which positition i'd rather be in though.
  4. Different. This should be clearer for you. He wouldn't start against Everton for me even if he's match fit (which he probably won't be). Gerrard, Alonso and now Pennant are doing just fine.
  5. Shouldn't be a guaranteed started anyway. Soz.

    Dirk Kuyt

Absoultley haunting that picture of Dirk
  7. Don't be daft. We should hope for any advantage we can before and after kick off.
  8. No he wasn't Don't see the relevance anyway
  9. Nah, reckon he'll stay, they'll f*ckin love him.
  10. Fair play to the guy. To those who are upset about this, would you prefer to see him sat next to f*ckin Paul Merson on Sky with all the other washed up cretins?
  11. Really? No input whatsover? I knew it was minimal but am surprised he agreed to it.
  12. Don't know if anyone was listening to R5 this morning but they had the chairman (or summet) of one of our local supporters club claiming that Rafa had a clause in his contract that meant zero input into the academy - literally nothing, and it was left entirely to SH. If i remember correctly the academy was one of the first things Rafa identified as needing attention when he came in. Does anyone know who this guy was and where he got this from? It seems strange to come up with such obvious bullsh*t on national radio.
  13. We'll tw*t Watford on Saturday. The team will want to prove a point.
  14. The sky is falling in
  15. Merson really struggles. His comment about not wishing to sit in our directors box with a wod of cash was laughable. Go and chomp on your bargain bucket yer fat tw*t.
  16. He did have a couple of 'howlers' by his standards to be honest. His passing was dreadful in a couple of consecutive games - that was about it though.
  17. I agree Alonso had a few dodgy games in the first couple of months (along with the rest of the team), however in the games where we lied down he was the only one who stood out and made a fist of it - I'm thinking of Man Utd and Arsenal in particular. Since then he's stood out as our most influential player imo. Agger has been good without standing out for me apart from the odd game - along with Finnan. I suppose Dirk would be the closest to pushing Xabi for our top performer. Says a lot about our inconsistency really that no-one has been top drawer all season.
  18. Can't think of anyone who has had a better season for us than Alonso. Dropping him is b*llocks.

    Dudek

F*ckin piss take, please. Dudek had a shocker (again) but he "tried to do the right thing and failed" with his half arsed attempt at a dive. Get a grip.
  20. If one thing, this should serve as a reminder to people how much we struggle against the top teams. Loads of people coming up with scenario's lately about us taking points of the other big 3 in the league this season at home. Highly unlikely as per.
  21. Funny how its that right wing fascist publication as well. I wonder how many articles they've got on immigration today.

    We Are s***

    We f*ckin don't mate.
  24. Suggests it quite a lot in these paragraphs.....or maybe i've misunderstood?: I'm sick of going to matches and basically sitting amongst folks who are there to either watch or observe the a match / the team rather than support them. I'm sick of the fact that people are drawn to our club because of the legend of the Kop and as such people go to experience it not participate. I'm sick of the g******* c**** who find the breath to have a go at a player and not to sing their name or applaud. I'm sick of how quick we are to vocalise opinions on forums like these yet slow to vocalise at the game. It's not hard, I don't expect liverbird, scouser tommy to be known chapter and verse but for f***s sake you are in LIVERPOOL, YOU'VE BOUGHT A TICKET TO WATCH LIVERPOOL SO AT LEAST JOIN IN THE CHANTS SAYING 'LIVERPOOL'
  25. Absolute b*llocks I'm afraid, to say you should be expected to sing at the game. I do sing, but doesn't make you less of a fan if you don't. You sound self righteous.
