My point is that it's the belief of some (including myself) that Sissoko is over-rated and over priced if £15M is being quoted as a price Barca would be willing to pay. Yes he's young but so is Mascherano who seems light years ahead in almost every department. If Barca offer £15M for Momo whilst at the same time ending their interest in Alonso i think we'd have a good deal. Two defensive midfielders is enough if we can get someone like Alves on the right and let Gerrard play through the middle - whether it be further forward or in a more orthodox CM role imo. The argument about Sissoko from many was how vulnerable we looked without him. Well in the last 2 games we've looked anything but.
