  1. This definitely feels better than 2 years ago which has shocked me. I think the difference between now and two years ago is that I was too nervous last time. Thought it was a once in a lifetime opportunity particularly with the team we had and it felt like we'd only have one crack at it with that squad. It was a bit surreal, which was summed up by the final itself. Now its becoming apparent that with Rafa in charge we can expect to compete at the very top, in Europe for now, year on year. Our expectations are finally being met. I remember the morning after the parade suffering an ineviatble low, wondering if i'd ever feel a natural high like the previous 24hrs again in my life. Well I'm gonna enjoy and savour every moment from here on in from this one even more.
  2. Or not so secret!
  3. We're capable of beating them if we play well. We'll be fitter and they've got a sh*te keeper. All this talk of revenge plays into our hands - just look at Chelsea for that. 2-1 to the reds.
  4. with Reina was MOM on the biggest stage. The biggest compliment that can be made to him is Rafa dropping Alonso. Can't remember him ever doing that for a big game. Once again he got it spot on. He's f*ckin ace.
  5. Same here, i keep supressing the glory thoughts with more rational/negative ones. If i spend too much time thinking about it i'll lose my mind.
  6. Exactly. He's bound to get injured again just as the transfer window opens. Cut our losses with this one.....again.
  7. I'm calm.....only because i've convinced myself we're out. Got an awful feeling we'll go 2 up squander chances and they'll get a late one to send us out, probably that little wa*nker Cole.
  8. Can't see Robben coming on unless they are on the brink of going out.
  9. No he hasn't. As much as Crouch has done well this season, and its mainly been the 2nd half of the season, Berbatov is a step up in class. You can see that with every game Berbatov plays.
  10. My point exactly. They want it both ways.
  11. He's more than capable of playing further up the field, beating players and whipping a good cross in. He's done it for City on a few occasions. Granted he wouldn't be bought to play predominantly RM as Alves might but he could capably fill in imo. Alves will be about £18M-£20M I'd imagine Richards £12M ish. Add to that his versatility at CB i reckon he'd be a good buy,
  12. Hope so. Affordable version of Alves, if still a bit raw. Would be a gamble if its over £10M but we've got the dosh to be able to do that now.
  13. Berbatov has shown today again how good he is. Don't think we could afford him now as he'd be a daft price esp if Chelsea get involved. I wouldn't mind Tevez.
  14. Whats wrong? That i know a load of mancs who did it? It's actually correct. I didn't say all FC Utd supporters did it.
  15. My point is i know a load of mancs who jumped on the bandwagon with FC Utd but then it didn't take long to go back to Old Trafford when they realised that the Glazers hadn't compromised your chance of success.
  16. From the mancs who did it. Whats the logic behind going to away games but not home ones...because the Glazers are in attendance? Do they not attend your away games as well?
  17. As long as its not Cisse. F*ck me i'd rather give Montse a go up front.
  18. d****ead reckons Carvalho out for season with knee injury
  19. I know what you mean but the said line is worse than any of them above. It's just a howler. And for what its worth i reckon Crouchy's feet do stick out the bed.
  20. I'm not a scouser but it's nothing to do with that, just think it's a sh*te line. How many scousers are in the team and how exactly are we ruling the country again? There's been various other versions suggested on here that are much better.
  21. F*ckin great song, crying shame about the line saying scousers ruling the country though.

  23. It's a joke because loads of mancs claimed to be deserting their beloved club, then the first champions league game into the next season they start trickling back. As for YNWA, why stop singing it then?
  24. One of my manc mates tried to tell me that they used to sing YNWA before us in the 60's then everyone got onto it and they f*cked it off One other thing that I'll always bring up to my manc mates - FC United. What a f*ckin joke.
  25. Think Colin Murray was in our end as well
