They stooped to a new low before the game with the Gerrard issue. First of all claiming he was playing in the hole then some inside info from pitchside was that Rafa had changed his mind at the last minute when he saw Messi on the team sheet and now Finnan was going to play left midfield to combat him and Gerrard right. The players would not know this system so late on and it would be a massive problem. Hoddle was nearly crying and Redknapp and Gullit were dumbstruck by it all. What a bunch of f*ckin clueless muppets. I could not believe what i was hearing. They still wouldn't admit the system was right after the game despite the fact the Gerrard played the through ball to Kuyt which ultimately set up the winner.

This is my issue, they don't get back to you. I ended up sending a letter to Parry after numerous knock backs from the ticket office. I got a response saying i was still on the list....think this was about 2 years ago. I now need to write about a change of address and will also ask them about the issue of the new ground. Its worth a try.

I think i'm down for a double so that may be hindering my chances. I asked for 2 ST's but didn't state that they needed to be together, i wander if they take that as a given. Hope not. Trouble is the sh*tehawks at the ticket office can't tell me where i am on the list, its a complete ballache to get anything out of them on the matter.

I notice shareholders are being offered season tickets at the new ground as an incentive to sell. I've been on the waiting list for over 10 years now, and although i'm on the PTS, I would still prefer a ST. Does anybody know if they were going to issue some new ones with the new ground?

Its a cringeworthy response from the bitters. Whichever way they want to dress it up the fact remains they are a smaller club with much lower expectations and a point at our place is seen as a good result. That is all Rafa meant. Think we were pretty blameless up to the point where FIFA gave us the go-ahead i.e. this morning. This paperwork stuff sounds amateurish though. Wouldn't surprise me if FIFA had colluded with the FA to f*ck it up for us. We can add Victor to the list of deadline day fiasco's as well.
