Reckon he's going to be involved in a few goal of the month awards this fella. If Mo had put that chance away, after bringing it down beautifully, he already would.

Think I'm going to need at least a year of all this passing around at the back, without it going t*** up, for my nerves to calm down. I suppose some PTSD is to be expected from our previous with all this. His pass accuracy tonight was over 90%. Astounding. What a team Klopp is building here. Love how excited he is walking around the pitch after the game. Embracing everyone as though it's the end of the season and we've just won the league. Must be so much fun working under him.

Whilst I wouldnt go as far as that, he did seem to have a mishap in every game in pre season. Yep, he's young and inexperienced, and maybe will sort these out in time, but right now I'd prefer if he'd learnt to do that out on loan rather than coming in as a replacement for Klavan (who I thought was always a little underrated).

Really enjoying all this. It was all too predictable as well.

Head to here after the game. Full match will be there as well as extended highlights.

Apart from making some great additions this transfer window we've also managed to avoid any sagas on the leaving front. A very welcome difference to many of the other windows. Tbh im kinda buzzing right now. We've finally got a squad that can challenge for the title. And we've got a guy in charge who is real deal. Nice.

Just listened to it (here - 14mins in is when they move onto us). Nice to hear him praise him so highly! He also mentions how he was disappointed by our actions in the fekir dealings.

Really have no idea how this game is going to go. Nervous as f***. Going to try my best and enjoy it. Either way, we're in the final of the biggest competition in football. This is where we belong. Our fans deserve these moments. You never walk alone.

Have a friend's wedding in Como on Sunday and it looks like all the bars in the area are too posh to have TVs so thinking I'll get the train to Milan. If anyone knows of a decent place there to watch the game please let me know!

The funny ones are always the most insecure.

The people that represent him might like to make some money though As it is, I don't think it's a terrible move for him. Tell them to f*** off and come back with a loan offer.

I love watching him play. His languid, relaxed style is just so comforting, especially after all these years of panic and stress from our defence. I didnt quite comprehend how important he was going to be when we were first linked and just thought, lets get someone else in if he's unavailable. Thank goodness Klopp stuck to his guns. What a player we have on our hands.

Crazy this. We've been desperate for a decent keeper for around a decade and now that we are supposedly linked with one, we're not sure about it because the current guy, who has looked way out of his depth since his arrival, has had two ok games. I dont mind driving in the snow to pick this guy up.

What a performance. Robertson, TAA, Gini, Milner all great today. Really made up for them, especially the kids. Oh yeah and our front three ; ) An incredibly professional showing from us today. Again. Great time to be a liverpool fan!

Yea VVD was tremendous today. Worth every penny we paid for him.

Another left back who really hates to use his right. Thankfully he's a proper defender and he's a great addition to the team. His crossing is usually a lot stronger than it was today.

They were pretty happy letting him have the ball tonight. Think it's time to give TAA a run of games. His crossing ability is right up there and something we desperately need against packed defenses. Incredibly frustrating to watch tonight. Sometimes we are far too interested in making sure we dont lose the ball when we need to be taking chances. We are at our most devastating when we've just regained possession, so we shouldn't fear opening the game up especially against relegation fodder away from home.

That kids Salah Mane song has been stuck in my head since I heard it. Did it get an airing at the game?

We dug our heels in because their offer was a piss take. If they can save 10/20million by getting the player to be a c*** then you can understand why Barca are acting like this. The quote from Ballague about the president feeling in debt to Coutinho because he wants to go there so much has really irked me. They can all f*** off.

Great to see Lallana back

Sue them for a s*** tonne and then use the proceeds to buy Messi

Loving the new team analysis postings, Rory.

Didn't know that. Presumed he was on the coutinho def off bandwagon. Keep Phil and win the champions league. Then if barca can afford the 150m price tag he can leave with our blessing.

Ballague (or ballbag as my autocorrect wants to call him) has refuted it and said nothing has changed behind the scenes. Well that's calmed me down
