    A joke isn't it,he's not a right-back or a left-back,he's a f***ing top class centre back. The Italians must think we're mad after seeing him last season.

    He also needs some proper targets to hit up there. Occasionally some of our players are static,with little room to run into. Players like Garcia,Gerrard and,occasionally,Cisse give Alonso good movements.Once we've got some proper wingers/wide players and a pacey striker,he'll be given some better passing options.

    I feel bad for Danny Wilson,that said. I've always had a soft spot for him,he always seems like an honest,decent bloke. Great to see them go down,though,what happened there was completely wrong.

    A more erratic shot on such a "world class" attacking midfielder I have never seen. On his day,he was unstoppable,but so was Emile Heskey. He was not nearly consistent enough to warrant the hero-status some people gave him. Oh,and he's a moneygrabbing c***. Did I mention that?

    Nah,just lost,Marciano almost knocked him clean out of the ring. Sad to see a legend battered about like that. I don't think Marciano's ever going to be beaten,you know,I think he'll probably retire undefeated and then die in a plane crash.
