I've got this feeling that it will either be a disappointing 1-1 or else that we will batter them by 3 to 4 goals.......no middle roads, no 2-1s 3-2s or extra-time.

Might be an idea to start Kromkamp at RM and put Stevie in the middle.

Get well soon Momo. Really sorry for the lad. I am sure it will take a few days until the situation can be properly assessed. Here's hoping!

Finnan, Cara, Sami, Didi, Gerrard, Fowler already have that status. Xabi, Reina, Garcia have the potential to be up there too.

YNWA Momo. Pretty similar incident to when Hyypia nearly beheaded that Slovenian player in the UEFA Cup. I hope it is not anything that can impair his vision etc. Get back soon Momo.

He did put in a great pass that nobody understood towards the end.

Well they are nice words nonetheless.

Well said Lehmann. He touched the ball more times than Freddie did.

I compare it more to the Owen situation in 03/04. 1yr left on contract at the end of the season. Same body language, talk of Champs Lge etc.

Finnan Sissoko Garcia

We had Robbie Earle commentating and he said the Real Madrid thing.

It is worth a shot but I cannot see him leave Arsenal to stay in England. I am sure he will leave. He is looking as dejected as Owen looked in 03/04.

Hehe. Liverpool Enterprise will have him as its bedrock!

Source Italian media: Liverpool are apparently targetting Valencia starlet Yago Fernandez. Liverpool scouts have been seen observing the Portuguese youngster in Spain. "We will take into consideration Liverpool's offer and also what Valencia will offer my son" said his father. Fernandez is born in Portugal but his parents are both Spanish, with his mother having dual citizenship. From age 8 until 13 he trained with Benfica and later moved on to Sporting Lisbon. He later moved on to Real Madrid but last summer he was sold to Valencia and is under contract until 20011. The buy out clause for this young centre-back is 6m Euros.

First 10mins of the 2nd half belonged to them. After that it was sporadic bursts from them. We still had the best chance of the half.

It was a potato field. We could never get more than 3-4 passes together and thus take the game in our hands.
