I keep thinking that Utd will be 100% focused on beating City. They will in all probability be out of the Champs Lge next week. If City beat Spurs (or even draw against them) it will give them renewed hope for the top 4 irrelevant of their Everton result. If Spurs beat City away in the league there is still Chelsea (direct encounter coming up too) and Arsenal who may drop points. Utd need to be in the Champs Lge.

I think it is not the fans and expectations that caused it. That 2014 team was punching above its weight really and the lack of options and experience cost the team in that game. Mourinho had a plan that worked and we were not well prepared to counter it.

I really cannot get all this moaning about Lallana. He has yes been injured a lot in recent times, but he was always an important player under Klopp and one to follow his mantra to the letter. Lallana is a creative player but also offers much more defensively than Keita or Shaqiri do, so I can understand bringing him in the context of a tight game.
