VAR has been a well intentioned idea going t*** up. For me the main issue is human intervention and the whole issue of how someone decides where a “line” is drawn. Why not use technology and bung a chip in player’s boots and take the human element out. I’m now afraid to cheer a goal for fear of it being overturned.
