It still feels wrong that the winners of what is still, essentially, the 2nd Division receive that gorgeous old trophy that used to be awarded to the league champions. The Prem League trophy in comparison looks like something dreamt up by some latte-drinking, football-phobic f***wits as part of an afternoon task set by Alan Sugar in The Apprentice.

Torres has played in about 15 games for Chelsea now, I wonder how often has he been on for the full 90 mins? Can't be more than 3 or 4 times? Be kinda funny if he wins a league medal with them; he gets the silverware he craved when he left LFC but it would also come with the realisation that he contributed feck all to winning it.

It was all over the papers in December that we were lining up a move for this fella, even had him over as a guest for the Wolves game. But since then I haven't heard a peep about him. Initial reports were divided as to whether we would sign him in January or put a pre-contract in place then for a summer move. I believe he's currently injured so are we just waiting to make sure he fully recovers before following up our interest or have we decided to look elsewhere? Anyone heard owt?
