If he is going to get back to his form before his injury then i would think Dean Ashton would be a good shout

I think Parry has to go because he just doesn't seem up to the job of a chief exceutive of a football club, I do have concerns about the ownership as they do seem to be missing the odd deadlines here and there and the continued changes to the plans for the new stadium don't really give me any confidence. If they do sell we have to hope we get somebody or a consortium that are actually able to finance us as they should.

Spot on, they've clearly had a bit of a falling out, Rafa is p****d off about it and this was his way of having a dig. Of course all the panic merchants and rumour mongers can latch onto this, along with the media to mean that Rafa is on his way out. When in all liklihood it means nothing of the sort.

If Rafa was allowed to leave I would be extremely worried about where our club was headed as it would be absolutely stupid to let him go.

Rafa or Mourinho got to be Rafa everytime, Mourinho is classless and should never be considered for the managers post.

Pathetic, we are unbeaten, within 6 points of the top of the league and all of this without playing well, while the likes of Arsenal and the Mancs are playing as well as they will all season. To say Rafa must go smacks of believing what the media says and backing them. Some of the posters on here are obviously desperate to prove the "best fans in the world" tag we have is wrong as those calling for Rafa's head are amongst the "most moronic fans" in the world.

We won, probably not our greatest perfomance but we won so i don't really mind about the performance.

I agree but would go further than leaving 2 up lets go for 3 or 4 and that way all their team would have to defend their corner from the halfway line. Sack Rafa Howard Wilkinson for manager!!!

I'm amazed by the doubts being shown in Rafa's selections so early in the season, stop banging on about rotation it makes people sound like they get their ideas and thoughts off the media. Judge what he is doing at the end of the season, leave the knee jerking to the idiots in the press.

Very strange thread, well some of the posts are, we have just broken the clubs transfer record but some are trying to say we haven't really got any money to spend by use of some rather creative maths. Which appears to be in support of a journo etc who has got it hopelessley wrong so far. As long as Rafa gets the players he wants i don't care whether they cost 20p or £20 million.

I agree with all the concerns raised, it does seem a daft idea and i think it will leave us open to ridicule from other sets of fans, especially when there's been a lot of comment around how the fans are the 12th man etc but we then say we need a 'singing section'.

He has been a good signing for us this season and don't understand the criticism he has been getting.

He is not a £20 mill player, its amazing before and in the early part of the WC he is slated and then has a couple of reasonable games and everyone raves about him. He is a decent player no more no less and i think he will unbalance their set up either that or he is going to be a very expensive squad player.
