Completely. His agent is also very much giving it the whole ‘he’s happy to stay’. There’s going to have to be a substantial pay off to shift him. I could see him moving on a 2 year loan like Rodriguez at Bayern.

To be fair, I think Mourinho was right with his analysis of the match. We set our midfield 3 as a flat bank and asked Spurs to break us down. It was just a variation of catenaccio really. Would have been a bit easier if we’d found our short passes more, mind you.

There goes Twitter There was a suggestion from Jamie O’Hara the other day that we could be in for Eriksen. Don’t know if that was just footballer seeing gap in squad and going 2 + 2 = 5, or if he’s heard something. He’s obviously been much more prominently linked with Real Madrid.

Probably not. Supposedly spending £300m this summer. Pogba, Koulibaly two more who are being strongly linked. Plus I’m sure they’ll sign some other prospects from Spain/ South America, mainly cos they can.

Some speculation that Bayern have ‘cooled’ on Werner. Now unless this is just them trying to get Leipzig to reduce the fee it’s a little surprising. German media been saying for months he wanted to go there.

Guardiola has previously suggested he won’t keep going at club level for too long, but would fancy managing the Brazilian national team before he retires. Think he added Argentina as another option there recently. -

To be honest I don’t know enough to analyze the accounts closely to that level. Just curious do you have any ballpark estimate of how much we could/ should be spending this summer - before sales? Genuinely curious.
