Don't get this whole debate, even though he was obviously not at 100% today he was still one of our better players and one of the few who looked like creating anything.

Xabi worked hard, but in an away game with the midfield consisting of Xabi and Hamann, he's not in the team for his graft, he's in the team for his creativity and today he gave the ball away more than he did in the whole of last season. Nobody is questioning him as a player, he's still a deity in my eyes, he just had a bad game today.

His mate posts over on RAWK, said a few weeks ago he might need an operation. It's an unusual injury as he can play, but it could go any time, think they're testing it at the moment to see if he can recover without the operation.

He isn't playing for the reserves cos we have a seperate reserve squad, it's not as if he's 5th choice behind Willis and Roberts.

Not 100% sold on him TBH, he's ridiculously talented, but his attitude is suspect. He was appalling for Inter last night and should have been sent off for smacking an opponent in the face.
