THIS. If one stream doesnt work, another will, its basically like watching TV and I'll be doing the same tonight, I will never pay for Sky again.
-
I dont think we need Warnock at all - Johnson has done well there and Aureilo is excellent (when fit...). Kelly has got the right back position nailed down and rightly so. Warnock wouldnt get a game I dont think now. Suarez & Adam with an amazing winger and top centre back in the summer and we are on are way...
-
And maybe possibly be live on the web somewhere...
-
I've done that much what I've labelled 'F5ing' this past week in the hope for a Suarez, Adam, Young, Cahill combo that I've deciding to change my attitude completely and sit back, take a nice deep breath and see what happens, whatever will be will be... Thats why I'm checking the Jan Transfer thread. Fail.
-
Stevie back in for Poulsen and Cole or Pacheco in for either Maxi or Kuyt, whichever is the most knackered (pref Kuyt). Wouldnt change anything else...
-
Hahaha! And I agree in totality.
-
Any team news? I'd line up something like this: --------------------------------Reina-------------------------------- Kelly-----------------Wilson-------Agger---------------Aurelio -----------------------Lucas-------Merieles---------------------- --------------------------------Cole---------------------------------- -------Suarez--------------------------------------Young--------- ------------------------------Nando--------------------------------- Reckon that would paste em

Your timing was impeccable. Reverse mockers.
-
Apparently we are in for Young now having been priced out of a move for Downing so another site doth say...
-
Is that what we need though? I think we need some genuine pace, creativity and skill out wide, not sure he is it.
-
Stewart downing hmmmmm... We need pace, has he got it? I'm not sure? Decent player, but is he really going to take us to a higher level? Not sure.
-
Exactly what I was thinking...
-
He has heart and he done okay yesterday, I personally think we need much better, but fair play to him yesterday, he was much better than Poulsen would have been. A lad from my footy team text and said he wouldnt get in our Sunday team. I said to a bluenose, two seaons ago with had a midfield of Alonso, Mascherano and Gerrard and now we are finishing the derby with Spearing, Shelvey and Lucas.

Something changed in me last night as I was watching our team, I seemed to realise that we really are in a bad way. Despite our horrible, horrible season so far I always clung onto the fact that Roy Hodgson was in charge and that was the reason why we were so abysmal, I believed in the squad we had, despite a lot of other fans saying it was poor. Last night I agreed with them for the first time. Reina, Agger, Gerrard, Aquilani, Maxi and Gerrard – six players I think have the class and ability we need. Six in a squad of over 25 players and one of them was ridiculously loaned out as he was finally fit and showing us what he can do. The rest I’m now afraid are simply not good enough and in now way will get us back into the ‘big time’ of the champions league and unless Af Martin Kelly also looks like he could make the grade and we have Suso in the reserves who really does need some first team action before he stagnates at that that level, we haven’t seen a lad of this quality at that age for 10 years. After that though I’m seriously thinking we do not have the players to compete with the *shudder* likes of Spurs to get back in the champions league and be challenging for the Holy Grail itself, the title. That leaves a list of: Johnson Carra (unfair?) Srktel The Greek Koncheskey Aurelio (IF fit, he would be one of the best left backs in the country, but that is a massive, massive if) Poulsen Lucas (would be decent as back up CM) Kuyt Jovanovic Cole (Given enough time?) Babel Ngog From what I can see from the first team squad the only one who could make the 1st team grade is Raul, but he’s just come of the back of easiest his worse two games of the season so far where he has stunk the place out. He has showed class at times and it is time he starts doing it consistently rather than playing within himself and playing like is has the fear in him – it is time for his to step up. I really do think he’s a top player, but it is time to start showing it. I’m going state the absolute obvious now but how we miss Xabi, a player with his amazing ability would improve us ten fold at the moment, it was a cut above. This is probably the slowest team I have ever seen us have, it is shocking to the point that playing Babel would improve us as we’d at least have a threat on the break. We need some serious recruitment and the next batch of signings will have a major, major impact in where we will be in the next five years, we have to get them right. Step up Mr Comolli…

He was in my year at school, massive Liverpool fan and that will be his dream come tru., don't know why he took his wifes name and stuck it after his though, idiot
-
Fixed it for you. Think he could be a revelation there, or just s***, either way it means a Kelly (a defender who can defend) playing right back so for that purpose alone it would be a winner from the start
-
I wish this was the team: -----------------------------Reina----------------------------- Johnson----------Srktel-------Agger------------Aurelio ---------------------Gerrard------Merieles------------------- Maxi--------------------------Cole---------------------Babel (yes Babel! For pace on the break) ---------------------------Torres----------------------------- So we can actually attack, think thats the only way we are going to win this. Actually balls to it, I'd prob play Kelly at right back and WIlson centre back in place of Srktel!

Genuine comment on Sky Sports website from 'a fan': Amlan Nanda is calling for patience: 'It's utterly shameless how most of my fellow fans have behaved during this season. For the love of God, Roy has had just one pre-season and one transfer window to be satisfied with. How on earth would that time be enough for anyone to rectify the massive mess that Rafa left us in? Give the man at least a season to get his ideas across. And more importantly give him the breathing space to work. It doesn't help having negativity at your backs for anyone in any profession. Stop undermining him and maybe he can show us what he is capable of. Give him the time.'

That, for this time of the morning, is genius.

Wolfswinkel to Napoli apparently...

Just had an amazing game of 5 a side at kingsway leisure centre, we had 4 and they had 5, we worked our nuts off and were 15-11 up at one stage, I managed to scream one in the top corner from just inside their half to put us 18-17 with one minute to go (probably never hit one so good in my life) before they agonisingly trickled one in the corner just before the man came in and told us it was all over and it was shutting. Pure tension, teamwork, sweat, blood, tears and in the end... heartache, but we can still hold our heads up and managed to draw 18-18 against all the odds. I missed the match due to having to play f***ing 5-a-side which was booked every Weds so I could watch us, I'm assuming with it being a European night at Anfield and one for the kids to enjoy I missed a cracker? Was it a bit like tour game?

I point blank refuse to believe we be 'worse off' without the Hodge.

Dear John and Thomas, First of all I would like to send my deepest thanks for basically saving this club from the previous owners of our beloved football club – make no mistake you have purchased the greatest football club on earth and I dearly welcome you both to our club. Having been supporting this club for 29 years both passionately and wholeheartedly I want to express my concern at the way this club is currently going and ask you when you will change this? I firmly agree with the 95% of Liverpool fans who think this manager we have a) is not a ‘Liverpool’ manager and b) simply isnt good enough for us if we want to stop this truly horrid slide into the wilderness which is the most painful thing to watch, when like myself, you love this club dearly. PLEASE I’m literally begging you to think about where we will be if this continues any longer, I have and it literally terrifies me. The longer this carries on the longer and more difficult your task will be to get us back to the top. This season is breaking my heart.
