Amongst all the 'Is Salah s*** or is it the system?' chat I keep thinking about his tweet about Suleiman al-Obeid and how that act just seemed to never be addressed beyond the utmost superficiality by any of the fan media I hear. It was covered - and in a lot of detail too - on the 'It Was What It Was' podcast, however, in their two-parter: https://podfollow.com/it-was-what-it-was/episode/f755b54d130ce2692d737930b40ec13ce8f18b6b/view https://podfollow.com/it-was-what-it-was/episode/4a9fc84bcbf39c0341cf501181fb12508f4ea7ff/view The first part is all about his origin story but the second is a deeper dive into his role as a political figure. I thought it was excellent, and compared to most, brave. So if that is your type of thing and you haven't heard it, I recommend.

Steve Cooper has turned up as the new Brøndby IF trainer/manager - interesting appointment all round. Pretty sure his experience bringing youth players into the first team at various clubs was part of the thinking, but not a perfect fit I don't think, despite on the face of it a manager with several premier league seasons of experience is not something you often see show up in the Superliga.

Mourinho at Forest would be some career arc, but Silva the one they should go for from that list IMO.
