  1. Sunderland would still be in the Premier League though
  2. Atletico are clearly not the force they were a couple of seasons back and should be well beatable for Arsenal.
  3. We can damn close to winning that game and IIRC would have been the first British side to win there if we had held on?
  4. Is the answer Juventus?
  5. Absolutely magnificent!
  6. They have the temerity to support their own team and want to win
  7. I guess one difference here is that the Utd board are less likely to get itchy trigger fingers with him compared to Chelsea, Real...

  16. I bet you he is right. Most likely they are 100% convinced keeping him was more risky. And if he is right, then it's not risky Chill (everyone).

How long till Real feel they need to break the world transfer record as a statement?
  19. Love a bit of George Weah from his own penalty area. Then there is one that Almeyda scored for Lazio against... Parma. Check it out. edit: bit harsh not having a Le Tissier goal... maybe that one vs Newcastle.
  20. Cheers for the good footy team, Jurgs
  21. This is undoubtedly true - central defenders... but he also made some of those players through his coaching Nevertheless there was an Anfield Wrap podcast when Klopp joined where the contributor from the Yellow Wall stated that it took him three years work at Dortmund before they really started to see the results, which could sound familiar to what we have, where you can see the results, but still inconsistently. So maybe he also needs time.
  22. Gotta take Arsenal seriously this year

  24. That result in of itself is completely irrelevant, in fact a draw is more than passable there. The concern is that we go on another anemic run like last time we sometime managed to not put them away despite being vastly superior.
  25. Yup. But we routinely beat well better teams. They are OK, nothing more, but apparently we have a little bit of something in our head about them.
