It can't be tomorrow as the tickets are on sale to ST holders tomorrow and Friday. I'd guess the ballot will be done Tuesday as it's the service Saturday.
-
Season ticket holders get the right to go to every home first round game of every tournament, extending that logic a season ticket holder who attends a first round game at home should be entitled to a second round ticket at home. In this case there has only been 1 hoem game therefore AFTER those who went to two games it makes sense to guarantee season ticket holders a seat next IF they attended the one home game.

This the same Makalele that Gerrard raped for pace in the cup final and Makalele hauled him down in the box. You don't half spout some s****, Makalele aint quick. They are two totally different players, time for an education - Alonso took Hammans role, Sissoko does the role Gerrard does when he plays CM against decent opposition. Sissoko's game is all about pace and closing down to win the ball which is how Gerrard wins the ball, Hamann and Alonso (although he presses more now than Didi did) is about anticipating what happens next and stopping it. That is what Makalele does.

I noticed that when Kewell and Cisse swapped sides, Kewell had the full back on toast and nearly scored, he seemed to have the beating of him quite easily. Probably why Rafa figured little Luis might have similar joy.
-
What I also noticed in the 20 mins I watched was he makes some great runs behind the full back. Unfortunately nobody passed the ball to him but it didn't stop him making the runs. I reckon Xabi might pick out those runs next season ot good effect.

Have a look at the goals he scored at the start of his LFC career quite a few screamers from distance particularly in Yerp. Famous is probably not the right phrase but if you ask people to name a Hary Kewell goal then normally pick a screamer from distance. 'As capable as any other player in the squad with his left peg from distance therefore should be mentioned at this juncture' was probably the phrase I was looking for. Just getting a tad fecked off with the posts I've read this morning consigning Kewell to the scrapheap because we have signed a good young player.
-
I think he'll select 16 players for each match and one or both will be in the first X1 with the other probably on the bench Just a hunch though
-
Errrrmmmmm , I'm sure we have another left footed player who is also famous for lamping them in from that sort of range. What was his name again ........ cough Harry cough Kewell cough

Just watched it this morning (repeat) and the nobhead was blaming the player who fouled Gonzales for getting Guti sent off. Guti was sent off BEFORE that incident occurred Piss poor whoever he was.

The tout said that if the drunken t*** wins the league this season he will be the greatest manager ever. Another reason for this not to happen. 6 league titles and 3 European Cups in 9 years IF the Mancs catch Chelsea it will be regarded as David over Goliath, they will write f***ing long winding poetic b******s about the little man overcoming the big bad Russian. Utd win Saturday please to stop Arsenal catching us, Feck it, just to be safe lets have a draw to slow Utd down as well. Chelsea to t*** Man U at Chelsea. Chelsea to win the league by half a dozen points so Mourinho can't crow and so the press dont get too excited about Manure Us to win the FA Cup (obviously)

Personally I think Gonzales is overrated and Parry should be sacked because he didn't sign Figo.

Which coincidently was about the time that Ince started to fade and England became the David Beckham show. Coincidence ? Very few players are attacking and defence, Scholes has had the luxury of playing with one of the best in the business for 10 years and playing with the player who taught the best in the business for England. It's been perfect for the type of player he is. Neither Utd now or England have that sort of player and consequently Scholes form has dipped. Doesn't make him a bad player though. P.S. Not a dig at you Sammy just expanding on why people think Scholes is s*** and why they are wrong.

Premier League team of the season?
Woodsyla replied to Knox_Harrington 's topic in General Football Discussion
I'd give it to Quedrue, he might get the odd ban but he is a solid defender, scores goals and has good ball skills. Failing him the lad Baines at Wigan. -
He is, but he's not playing well so we should try and destroy him !!!!! Here's a fact to throw in the mix, Lampard set the record this season for consequetive league appearances for his club. Could he be in need of a rest maybe ? Lampard is not a great central midfielder, he's a good one but not a great one, his major weakness, IMO is the inability to impose himself on a game, every great midfielder does that and Lampard doesn't, however you can't question his range of passing, his movement and his finishing. He's not similar to Platt at all, he's more like Scholes. Notice that Scholes best years came playing alongside Keane. Stick Lampard alongside Keane and he would shine, sticking him with a player who doesn't do the donkey work for him and he struggles. It's no surprise that Mourinho plays 4-5-1 because it gets the best from Lampard. Unfortunately for England we don't have a battering ram centre forward or Chelsea's abundance of wingers. I actually think to get the best from Lampard we should line up like this ---------------Rooney -----Cole----Lampard------SWP -----------Carrick Gerrard But that would involve dropping Beckham and Owen, IMO England's best line up is -------------Rooney Owen -----Cole Gerrard Carrick Beckham It wont happen though.

This is probably one of the best songs for a player we have got, still can't understand why no f***** is singing it, it's got a great chorus as well Oh, yes he is (oh, yes he is) Oh, yes he is (oh, yes he is) and if you try to take him he'll put you in the stand cause he's a dedicated Irish Red with passion
-
Yeah, it was REALLY dull when there was all that talk about us signing Fowler
-
In principle, yes, but what sort of contract do you offer an injury prone 29 year old who is free to leave on a Bosman ? We shouldn't have kept Nunez but we should have signed someone better. Had Gonzales been allowed a work permit we wouldn't be discussing this.
-
When Granada invested £20m that bought you two World Class players, so the equivalent amount now would be in the region of £50m. That would suggest that someone was willing to invest that sort of money without assuming control of the club.
-
Well I appreciate what you did there David. some nice wordplay

You are getting stitched up if you are paying for non existent cup games. In the case above you have paid for the Manc game so you should go to the semi. My reference was against those ST holders who don't go to any of the home cup games yet come out of the woodwork for the final. I confess I did that in 2001 for the Carling Cup and the FA Cup but I don't complain now I cna't do that anymore.

Isn't he Joey Joey Joe Shabadoo ? IMO some of them probably do come from this forum. A lot of sense is spoken on here and you have access to a varied range of opinions, if I was a journo I'd be on here after a match looking for points I may have missed at the game.
