Didn't read too much after the 2nd paragraph but I'd imagine people are getting edgey as other clubs have spent money and we haven't. If you look at it another way though, none of the other clubs have made any decent spanish signings as their league is not yet finished. The majority of the names being linked with us play in Spain. Hence, no major signings = forum panic=we have no money to spend.

The lads I know going from Ireland are definitely going to be in the Milan end as they booked it through some travel agent that is going via Rome! Only cost them 900euro all in but I haven't had confirmation of wheather they've actually got the tickets from them yet.

I'd imagine D2 would be pretty crap. I'm not a big fan of watching matches in the pub as I get too wound up. Have watched a few games in Sinnotts when we've only been on the mad tv stations and it's been good. Big screen and loads of other decent sized TV's.

Turned on skysports just after the match was over. They were showing a penalty incident that was turned down. Eagles who I think was the player involved then got up and steamed into SWP with what looked like a red card tackle. Sky continued to show the penalty incident over and over but only showed the tackle once and didn't discuss it. Maybe I'm being paranoid but if it was any other club I reckon they'd have it on a loop on SSN

Liverpool price just took a hugh drop on Betfair. Might be someone else out for Chelsea that we haven't heard about. I'm pretty confident about tonight but it's excruciating watching a game where it can all go t*** up if they score.

Forms are sent out at the start of feb and have to be returned within 6 weeks. On that basis it'll probably be a close call between Drogba and ronaldo. Finnan should definitely get in the team of the year on merit but as others have mentioned, most footballers aren't the brightest and will go with the most hyped.
