If we pull off Isak, Guehi, extend Konate's contract and get good money for the deadwood does that mean "f*** off FSG" is confined to the dustbin of history?

Yeah the Diaz and Konate situations appear to be eerily similar. They want more money considering they've been a crucial part of our recent title win. They've seen Mo and Virge get new bumper deals and I'm sure some of our new signings who weren't integral to the success are being paid more. If you were in their shoes wouldn't you be questioning the clubs valuation/worth that you offer?

I'm surprised we haven't seen more movement on outgoing players. Quansah, Kelleher and TAA being the exceptions. What's going on with Elliot, Chiesa, Nunez etc? It's all gone very quiet. Diaz can go for the right money that is clear.

Even if Konate stays we do need another CB. Gomez unfortunately has had some serious injury problems over the past few years and cannot be relied upon. If you take the squad as a whole today this is probably the weakest area of the squad. As much as a Colossus Virge is he's another year older and played a lot of games last season.

Still can't believe this has happened, what cruel luck has conspired to lead to the deaths of Diogo and his brother. This is going to hurt for a very long time, for the fans, the players and in particular his family. He only just got married 2 to 3 weeks ago and is leaving behind a wife and three young children. As a city and club we've experienced tragedy before so I feel everyone is in good hands when it comes to processing the grief about this senseless incident. Our former players who are still at the club in some other capacity will have a crucial roll to play. Life sucks sometimes.

Omg this is awful, I'm thinking about his wife and kids, they'll be absolutely devastated. 28 years old, looks like an unpredictable tyre blow out took away his and his brothers lives. This is tragic to say the least.

Looking forward what's the expectations for the new season? For me: 1. Top 2 minimum, I expect us to be challenging for the title but this league is extremely competitive. We'll have a target in our backs being champions and teams below us will be strengthening. Rival teams have a year under their belts to analyze how we've played under Arne and come up with ways to counteract us. Back to back titles would be remarkable. The Premier League title in my opinion is THE number one goal. 2. Go deep into the Champions League, semi finals minimum. We were unlucky with the draw, meeting PSG when we did was unfortunate. Finishing top of the group stage doesn't matter as long as we finish in the top 8. 3. FA Cup/League Cup, play kids and squad players early rounds to keep them match fit, rest the regulars. If we go out early, so what? Remember people on here losing their goddamn minds after we lost to Plymouth but it's all long forgotten now. Play the regulars if we get to at least the Semi Finals.

Looks like we were very unfortunate to draw this PSG team in the last 16 after topping the group. Went out on penalties during a very busy time of the season.
