That's exactly what it sounds like. How many of us have been to team meetings or been involved in conference calls and there's always someone talking about 'moving forward' and 'our views are aligned' etc. Just stupid buzz phrases but nothing really changes.
It just looks like our entire squad are completely devoid of confidence without the safety blanket of knowing Suarez and Sturridge are going to be up front. It might have worked if the Sturridge/Suarez replacements were of any use but we couldnt/wouldnt buy like for like players.
