To who?

They are delighted that Amorim is "telling the truth" rather than pretending the squad is great and "putting it up" to the ownership, who cannot or will not get rid of the deadwood and buy in the players Amorim wants.

Man after my own heart. Good call.

Well said, sums it up well.

Seemed like a pretty humble chap rather than showing off how good it is all gonna be. Fair enough.

I was playing ball with the brothers in law some years back and the ball smacked me straight in the face (nose). After the initial pain settled, I was having issues with my breathing and went to the doctor, and despite my insistence that "something" was wrong they said nothing was out of order, and gave me a nasal spray. Eventually, one of the doctors spotted it, after several visits to the surgery and said I had a "deviated septum", and this did require surgery. Wasn't a major OP (overnight stay) and was back to normal within about a week.

That's my guess. Good player. Surprised he isn't in final list.

I'm a Dub, and mad seeing cops in Connolly station from 9am this morning, but they were on the streets from first thing this morning in the city. Leaving work around 5pm, close to that same station, city seemed quiet. That said, reckon Dublin would be rocking if LFC had been in town. Re the actual footie, shows what Atalanta have?

That's exactly what I was thinking. Seems odd. Who knows anymore.

That sums it up for me really. So, so, frustrating watching those chances spurned. I was watching the United and Palace games with some fans of rival teams (Leeds, Spurs) and some neutrals and almost all of them were just constantly saying "how the f**k did he miss that?" and I just shook my head in disbelief. Doesn't really help if you go a goal down and then your strikers cannot put the ball in th back of the net.

That interview above, he really comes across as bit of a "not nice" man. Can only imagine what the players thought of him.

Just a weird vid. I assumed it was some sort of fake thing. As someone else said, why on earth video it? Bizarre.

Bad Kompany?

Was just gonna say. Mitoma looks like some player. From the bits I saw, he was flying past our players.

I see, despite Klopp's measured comments re a replay, SKY website has "Klopp demands replay". Fecking tabloid gobs***es.

That statement is great, I like the bit towards the end re exploring the range of options available. Hopefully the fallout from this s*** show actually means something changes...

Indeed. One suspects it won't end well for ETH.

No issues with Sarah going, if that's what she wants. Not Salah though.

I know it's all money for these lads but you have to wonder if it ever goes through any of these player's heads that they are joining a total circus? Also, re FFP, it is becoming more and more obvious that the Premier League will not do a tap re financial irregularities and overspending. Chelsea in particular just keep buying players with no scrutiny.

Hehe - sorry, the Brighton Bubble one....

Wowsers! Is that a blag account?

So what happens if Brighton dig their heels in and refuse Chelsea's bid and the player still will only go to Chelsea (an Elvis Costello song springs to mind) - does the player go on strike (again) or what happens?

Not quite the word I would use. But it does seem like the club are trolling us at this stage. Edit: Typo.
