Trent had a stinker on Sunday but overall I think he's having a decent season. Generally I think he's improved defensively this season. Especially considering he's not getting the same level of help he used to get from Mo. He's not said anything in the media like Salah has. So I don't get the playing and antics remark. The only thing close to an antic was the West Ham celebration and none of us know for sure what that was about. I think the difference with the other 2 is that he's local and life long red and as fans we expect, rightly or wrongly, a higher degree of loyalty the only way this gets resolved well is by him signing a new contract with LFC. If it keeps being dragged on with no resolution then that will increase the frustration. If he announces he's signed a pre-contract with Madrid for the summer, all hell will break loose. In many ways if he's going to Madrid, it might be best for all concerned if he goes now.

Carra is right about Virgil. He's a little harsh on Trent, he's said nothing in the media about his situation.
