I think Neil said on one of the TAW shows that they will definitely talk about Salah and the Gaza issue but they didn't want to just tag it onto the end of a normal show due to its importance.

When you negotiate a contract renewal you have to be prepared to walk away and cancel. The retentions team will phone you back the next day after cancelling and suddenly all manner of great deals are on offer. It is cheaper for them to do that and stop customer churn than recruit a new customer. they rely on existing customer either just paying the new price or accepting the first new deal they are offered.
