Trying to be positive about the situation, while not having much success at it, I'm trying to enjoy the fact that we're in a position where two clubs i don't have alot of time for are sweating to get hold of a brilliant player who happens to be ours for at least another couple of seasons, and as I know f*** all about how business deals are done it seems to me that our part in these dealings mostly consist of going "Nope". I could live with us doing exactly that until the window closes. If memory serves me correct we've been interested in some players of both the respective clubs, and maybe these players will be mentioned in the negotiations. Could be useful information perhaps? Might give us some insight if a player we're still intersted in is thrown in as part of a fee (happens all the time these swap deals) , maybe seemingly surplus to requirements and not really valued that highly. All of this is of course absolute b******s, but it seems to suit the situation. From what I've read Wenger has 70m to spend. Probably also b******s. We're not in a position to waste Arsenals money, but wasting their time seems nice too.

I'd like to see a midfield three of Allen, Hendo and Shelvey. Gerrard and Sterling with Suarez up front. Hendo and Shelvey have a knack of coming in full force just a tad to late and I'd enjoy that against these. Just f***ing let them have it. While Allen keeping it tidy.
