A friend of mine's dad used to play for Arsenal. Won a few medals with them, he did. He then became a coach for them, sometime after retiring from playing. Because of his love for the club, he never asked for any salary in relation to his coaching role, all he got were 4 seasies.

 

He later retired as a coach & now only gets 2 seasies. Didn't even get a ticket for last season's FACF, and obviously none for the ECF.

 

Saved them millions in salary & they nickle & dime him.
