Bootle Buck Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 I know we haven't seen much of him but he seems to be able to run well with the ball. I watched the Ressies highlights and he looks very comfortable getting forward. Could he play on the right of midfield and do a job for us? Personally I didin't really expect much from the lad as a straight swap for Josemi but he has actually played for the Dutch National team so he must have some qualities.
Bootle Buck Posted February 24, 2006 Author Posted February 24, 2006 I meant Kronkamp............. It's still early here yet coffee hasn't kicked in.
CarraLegend Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Kronkamp is the next Risse, Ciise, Hamman or Hyppia
Ripley Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Kronkamp is the next Risse, Ciise, Hamman or HyppiaVery good
Eiler99 Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 who is he? Gronkjaer and Bergkamp's love child.
Bailo Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 (edited) who is he?A b*****d love child of Jesper Gronkjaer and Jan Kromkamp. Con he shut? No, dribble only. OH FFS, go away for 5 mins and someone beats me to it, with a better gag. Edited February 24, 2006 by SuperDjibril

Josemi had just broke into and started palying for the Spanish squad when he came here so that is not much of a rule to go by.
Guest AnfieldGrass Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Might help if we started spelling the lad's name correctly. Jan Kromkamp.
SkippyjonJones Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Might help if we started spelling the lad's name correctly. Jan Kromkamp. and no-one else had pointed that out either.
Guest jjasonuk Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 possibly, he certainly gives the team options if he plays with the right mentality.
Cisse Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Great player but so weak mentally, Gronkjaer that is
mrjunk Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 he's athletic, acrobatic, and adrenaline fueled. can pass too, i like him and want to see more.
Guz Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 With Gerrard likely to play more in the centre after the Sissoko news, we could see a lot more of Kromkamp.
Guest AnfieldGrass Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 and no-one else had pointed that out either. Yeah, and still continued to mispell it.
jariiiiiiiiiise Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Kronkamp is the next Risse, Ciise, Hamman or Hyppia who ever he is he's not a jossi
gkmacca Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 I thought he got better and better today. An excellent addition to the squad.
Guest Jude Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 I thought he got better and better today. An excellent addition to the squad. Must agree with you there, put some nice balls into the box and also worked really hard throughout the match.
D.Boon Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 looks more of a full back than RM to me, didnt do a great deal today
Gomez Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 looks more of a full back than RM to me, didnt do a great deal today I thought he played very well, some very good balls in the box, some good anticipation and some very good touches. He made one feck up in the first half, but over all he gave the ball away a lot less than other players
Bootle Buck Posted February 26, 2006 Author Posted February 26, 2006 He played well in a role that didn't look too comfortable for him. I think he prefers RB but Rafa wanted to keep Finnan in defence today. I would like to see him play FB and let Finnan play RM some times as he can bomb forward pretty good.
boohog Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 I thought he had an excellent game today. One of our best players, and far better than he has looked in the albeit few opportunities he has had to date.
