Raven had an impressive debut, but don't be too excited over it. He is afterall still a kid and wouldn't want to burn him up too quickly. The kids do well in the Carling Cup, but the same kids also played in the Reserves which ain't exactly doing that well. Diao is still need for the time being. Depending on the kids is too much a gamble. If they fail, we will have no chance to get reinforcement once the transfer window closes.

 

We are not deparate for the money. Diao has his admirers and would not be difficult to get rid of. His game may not be pretty or superb, but it can be effective.

We wouldn't do it. With Alonso and Josemi out , he is our cover for DM and RB. Not the best player, but useful at the moment. May have to wait till summer before we can sell him.
