The first time I've ever dreaded us playing Newcastle.

 

Really? It's not like there is anything at stake. They'll want it more, it'll be a draw at best

 

League matches are going to feel a bit preseason-frendly from now on (apart from the chavs, obviously)

 

I won't get annoyed if we fail to win, I will get annoyed if we waste it with the same personel and lack of direction that we have persisted with all season. If we play the likes of Coates, Shelvey, Flanagan, maybe Henderson in the middle and Sterling from the bench, I'll be happy whatever.

They've always been one of them teams you expect to beat as it's almost like theyre not small enough to cause and upset but not great enough to be worried about them outclassing us - however the latter isn't the case now which shows how we have fallen.

 

One a side note I agree with you, I'm not too bothered what happens in the league now, it's as good as over, I'd rather see a few of the youngsters and see if they have it, might mean we can ship some of the s**** in the summer.

Like last season

 

That wasn't fair as they had England's new ponytailed Alan Shearer up front and we were on a hiding to nothing.

 

We should have just bought him, we would have won the league.

I wonder if it'll be as bad as that rainy muddy one in GH's tenure. Salif Diao on the pitch and i think we lost to a Robert free kick

that didn't happen, nothing from those 6 months happened

 

It was the a*** sniffing, face rubbing game ,no matter how hard I try to forget, that image will be with me until I die.
