Finally I have the tickets in my hands!!! My first time at Anfield, gonna be great!

 

I have 3 tickets in anny road block 127 row 29...how s the view and atmospehere from there?

 

I have 2 tickets in the main stand block ME row 8... seems to have a better view and atmosphere??

 

what s baffling is no matter what view point you have theu are all the same price...

If there's more than two of you, you'll find the atmosphere pretty poor in the Moan Stand

Main stand will be better unless they are restricted tickets, as row 29 for anfield road is quite far back, the roof possibly will restrict the view of the other stands meaning you get less of the atmosphere.

Bit of Hobson's choice here, the atmosphere will be better in the Anfield Road, but the view will be better in the Main Stand.

 

Anfield Rd - Block 127 is the end block next to The Centenary Stand. Row 29 is one of the back rows, I think it goes up to 30 or 31 (cannot be certain of this). You will see the pitch, but because of the Upper Tier and you being at the back, your view will be like watching a 'letterbox' picture on a big tv.

 

Main Stand - Block ME - is situated Half-way between the dugout and the Anfield Road End. You will have an unobstructed view of the Anfield Road half of the pitch, but not the The Kop End half.

 

Your view in the Anfield Road could possibly be like this.

 

 

 

 

Your view from the Main Stand will look like this only you will be sitting a bit more to the left.

When I've sat right at the back of the Anny Road lower tier (the actual back row), I've not been able to see the Kop goal without ducking.

 

Banging on the back wall was quite fun though.

Our STs are in the Main Stand, bit further towards the Anny Road than you - 273 / 274 / 275. Its a good view generally from the Main Stand, but beware of moaning geriatrics. I've just learned to tune out most of the corpses around me over the years.

 

I would defo go for those ahead of the anny road seats if you have a choice. The only seats with atmosphere are in the Kop, so choose anywhere else based on view.

lower cent near the Kop also has a great atmosphere

best of both worlds if you're high up and level with the penalty box

You must be near us Mike, we're near the away end in the Main Stand 273/274. You'd think after 10 years with the ticket I'd remember which row we are but I can't - its just as you come out of the entrance you go straight along to the left.
