What's this about us still being in debt?

Dutch media reporting we still owe 320m (could be euros) to RBS. Dutch Ajax fans are saying we can't afford Suarez cause we're broke. I don't expect them to know anything about our finances, but the figure of 320m is being reported in the press over here. Is it true we still owe a lot of money? Is this debt being used for stadium/players/etc, or is it debt a la G&H that has been used to buy the club and is just costing us annual interest payments?

I don't think we're fully dept free, the interest payments are about a tenth of what they were though.

I recall a 60m figure opened by G&H being named running cost or startup costs or something similar. It related to the first phase of the new stadium. I can't imagine it's all been spent.

This isn't related to the comments on "de Telegraaf's" Suarez article is it Surf?

If so, they just seem pissed off 'cause Ajax would be losing a good player and they read somewhere that Liverpool were in debt.

 

Haven't seen it reported anywhere in the media either.
