I usually enjoy the deadline day if we’ve already wrapped up our transfer business and see other teams struggling to get players in. As it is we’re still short of players and the silence is deafening, making it extremely frustrating to see other teams get players in who could do a job for us. Still holding out hope that we can get at least one player in, even though it’s probably not gonna happen.

Think Araujo is a very good shout. It’ll allow Kerkez to venture forward more as we can shift to three at the back when attacking.

Agree with this. If we were more decisive in attack, we could’ve scored a couple. We’re missing the defence splitting pass - and that’s something I would expect from Wirtz. Hopefully we gel more in the second half.

We’re doing alright. The disallowed goal sucked the wind out of our sails, but Inter are also a very good & clever side, so some lesser spells are to be expected. Reckon we can still win this second half.

It’s not just the starting eleven, which is often questionable, it’s the subs as well. Our shape either remains the same or we go gung ho, there’s no in between.
