Can't seem to find any news on any of the other backroom staff. Has Kelly gone as well? Who is coming in as assistant or is sammy being promoted?

Just noticed on the offish, Kenny is listed as manager, with Kelly still listed as first team coach. Bit worried if he is still coaching them. Pako would be a great shout.

I'd look at letting Sammy take the kids or something and bring in a new first team coach. I'd love something out of left field like Lambert or someone.

Makes you wonder if Rafa knew what he was doing all along or if there's just a dearth of new ideas/good coaches around in football. Some of the players we were linked with in recent years with Rafa still appear to be on our radar as well. Rumour has it that Meiriles was one of Rafa's targtes for example.

Agree, I think its clear that Meiriles wasnt a Roy purchase...he admitted to not knowing his best position which to me says it all, if he was a player he was after then he would have known where he was going to play him.

Yeah, I think a lot of the hype is because he didnt shave and wore a long coat like Mourinho, but if Kenny wants him I'll have to take it back.
