Kvarme Ate My Food Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Side A:Clemence; Heskey, Riedle, Toshack, Kuyt; Fowler, Collymore, Dalglish, Keegan; Rush, Aldridge versus Side B:Reina; Henchoz, Yeats, P Thompson, Babbel; Agger, Carragher, Hansen, Lawrenson; Hyypia, T Smith
Jonesy Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Side A:Clemence; Heskey, Riedle, Toshack, Kuyt; Fowler, Collymore, Dalglish, Keegan; Rush, Aldridge versus Side B:Reina; Henchoz, Yeats, P Thompson, Babbel; Agger, Carragher, Hansen, Lawrenson; Hyypia, T Smith which one is Shankly managing?
Billy Dane Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 0-0 with Collymore and Heskey carried off following "tackles" by T Smith esq.
johngibo YPC Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Side A:Clemence; Heskey, Riedle, Toshack, Kuyt; Fowler, Collymore, Dalglish, Keegan; Rush, Aldridge versus Side B:Reina; Henchoz, Yeats, P Thompson, Babbel; Agger, Carragher, Hansen, Lawrenson; Hyypia, T Smith I reckon A. There are enough players in A to fashion a defence out of. And Heskey can finally kick off his right back career. But i reckon B would struggle for goalsI'm going 3-1
Gunga Din Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 i reckon B 5 at the back, with babel and Agger as wing backs, smith and Hyypia up front, Hansen, Thommo and Carra in midfield
fred milne Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Side A:Clemence; Heskey, Riedle, Toshack, Kuyt; Fowler, Collymore, Dalglish, Keegan; Rush, Aldridge versus Side B:Reina; Henchoz, Yeats, P Thompson, Babbel; Agger, Carragher, Hansen, Lawrenson; Hyypia, T SmithSide B if Arrigo Sacchi is managing it?
Kvarme Ate My Food Posted June 25, 2010 Author Posted June 25, 2010 I reckon A. There are enough players in A to fashion a defence out of. And Heskey can finally kick off his right back career. But i reckon B would struggle for goalsI'm going 3-1 B could organise itself quite nicely though. Babbel, Hansen, Lawro and Agger can all play, and the front two are fearsome.
Coyler Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Side A is actually scoring a few goals, so probably them.
Epic Swindle Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 A. Too much quality. Kuyt could cover all four defensive positions.
Kvarme Ate My Food Posted June 25, 2010 Author Posted June 25, 2010 Side A is actually scoring a few goals, so probably them. it's an irresisitible force versus an immovable object
Bailo Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 i reckon B 5 at the back, with babel and Agger as wing backs, smith and Hyypia up front, Hansen, Thommo and Carra in midfieldBabel/Babbel?
johngibo YPC Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 B could organise itself quite nicely though. Babbel, Hansen, Lawro and Agger can all play, and the front two are fearsome. Front two? Oh have you picked the formations?I'm playing Fowler left back
Kvarme Ate My Food Posted June 25, 2010 Author Posted June 25, 2010 Front two? Oh have you picked the formations?I'm playing Fowler left back I'd sort of suggested a 4-4-2, but you can do what you like with the players at your disposal.
Coyler Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 it's an irresisitible force versus an immovable objectNah. Didn't see Yeats in his prime but I reckon Dalglish and Fowler are running rings around him and Hansen all day long and Rush is laughing. Collymore would start nominally out wide, vainly hoping he'll keep Babbel busy, but he'll be coming in loads and he'll score a hat-trick of deflected Lampard efforts. Keegan in a muted modern-day Kuyt role would keep Agger and Henchoz quiet himself and I'd swap Dirk with Riedle.
stressederic Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Side A. I think there are enough players in that who would be able to retain possession and press Team B into a mistake when they've got the ball.
Kvarme Ate My Food Posted June 25, 2010 Author Posted June 25, 2010 I think B would make a game of it. They're powerful, man.
Cobs Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I think B would make a game of it. They're powerful, man. bunch of plodders, no pace in the side at all, no goal threat
Kvarme Ate My Food Posted June 25, 2010 Author Posted June 25, 2010 bunch of plodders, no pace in the side at all, no goal threat they'd have to play the long ball, admittedly. and A could put some big fellas at the back to deal with that. B would be great from corners. if they could figure out who should deliver the ball.
Gunga Din Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 bunch of plodders, no pace in the side at all, no goal threat if A lose the ball, they wouldnt get it back, no one can tackle, and there is plenty of pace in that B side. opviously thommo isnt as quicka s he used to be, but i reckon he'd beat kenny in a race
Cobs Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 if A lose the ball, they wouldnt get it back, no one can tackle, and there is plenty of pace in that B side. opviously thommo isnt as quicka s he used to be, but i reckon he'd beat kenny in a race they'd just all stand back and watch Rushie chase the ball until Carra got it then hoofed it upfield
sutty Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Get Gary Mac in team B and corners would be like penalties, if they could get any corners And get Yon in there to make them a posh stoke, that would annoy/delight Know
Murphman Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Side A:Clemence; Heskey, Riedle, Toshack, Kuyt; Fowler, Collymore, Dalglish, Keegan; Rush, Aldridge 4-2-4 Clem Kev buzzy overlapping right back, could play there no sweatTosh magnificently dominant in the airReidle mopping up behind Toshack with his supreme intelligenceKuyt. Mr versatility, can be equally as sh*t everywhere or equally as brilliant depending on which way the wind blows. King Kenny, who obviously was the greatest midfielder to grace this planet when he wasn't being the best striker.Collymore. Left Mid, hopefully would pick up an injury early doors and we could bring Torres on to play there seeing as Nanado isn't an uberc*nt like Collymore Rush AldridgeFowler Playing off the target man big Em. That side would have got in the top 4 this year, Rafa would have gone earlier though with a coronary..
