Masch is nowhere near the class of Torres or Gerrard. He has aggression, is quick and is a good tackler but he is still limited with the ball at his feet.

i doubt Gerrard would be able to do the job that we ask Mascherano to do every week. the patience and determination that masch has is amazing. Gerrard could do aprt of the job but not the whole thing.

 

we should be thankful we have all 4 of these great players and wish that we could add a couple more with similar skills.

I think the job he is asked to do is pretty limited - especially when you think of some of the players who have played in his position for this club - but that's a discussion for another day.
