Hypthetically Speaking, if we were not to get 4th

As we know the club is already struggling as it is to spend anything on player transfers and squad improvements and the CL revenue is hugely relevant for our American owners. If we were to not qualify for the CL where would that leave us? What implications does it have on the owners and will we be asset stripped and therefore be on a downward spiral. Is it not possible to have some sort of government legislation protect us as our finances are not due to excessive spending on transfers etc. Are we in real danger of being another Leeds?
