Surprised this hasn't been mentioned (apologies if I missed it)

Naughty Mancs

Whither the high ground?

Good job a wall didn't collapse or something...

Manchester United will be at the centre of an FA and police investigation after rampaging supporters brought a sour note to their Carling Cup fourth-round victory at Oakwell last night.

Not for the first time in this competition this season, the football played second fiddle to the thuggery of mindless supporters. Barnsley and South Yorkshire Police both launched investigations last night after United fans stormed the catering outlets in the concourse of the North Stand where the 4,000-strong travelling supporters were seated. The tills were looted and all the stock was taken as staff fled in fear.

Food and drinks were strewn everywhere and police said eight fans had been arrested. Witnesses were interviewed last night and the FA is expected to launch its own inquiry into the disgraceful scenes today. “We have launched a full investigation,” a Barnsley spokesman said.

Robbing b******s

I never get the murdering stuff they bang on about. Considering they seem to delight in their own less than whiter than white reputation. Singing songs about being 'c***s of the north' and then scousers killing people is odd. What are they saying? That we are better at fighting? Or they are dead boss at fighting, but we take it a bit too far? That they are really good at being quite violent, but would never dream of being dead violent? I don't get it. Its wierd

You can understand it though, Barnsley are one of their fiercest rivals.

Its been a terrible week for the scum. Long may it continue!

I have heard that their firm took a hiding Sunday (could be sh*te, you know how these things are)

If so last night might have been some kind of face-saver (could also be sh*te but I don't care)

I don't think the two are connected

I think the mancs have loads of young wannabe hooligans who come out of the woodwork for league cup games (bigger allocation, cheap tickets, fun aways like Barnsley) and they were basically acting like dicks.

Robbing pies and such isn't really a 'top lad' thing to do. We'll just get it worse when we go there now. Which will be fun

Was talking to one of our suppliers at dinner-time today, he follows that lot everywhere - says it was a bunch of 16-18 year olds that were responsible, robbed all the food and money, then started launching bottles of coke at the dibble outside after the game. It apparently kicked off at the train station afterwards too.

My mate knows someone who thinks he hard and supports the Mancs (think he might be in that lot that call themselves the MIB).

He said he seen no Mancs get battered on Sunday.
