SME Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 So much for him being an option for the rest of the season. where to?
beejay Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 So much for him being an option for the rest of the season. http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drilldown/N...090126-1141.htm Its only a month
Sion Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 This should have happened six month agoShame he's only gone to Blackpool and not a promotion chasing side excellent signing for them though
baz2107 Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 its good as long as they play him as he needs the experience of playing first tea football. He couldn't have gone earlier in the season as he was injured until early December

richwilks Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Strange that it's only a month unless Rafa sees it as a way of getting him match fit and get some 1st team experience and then sees him as a first team option after that.
Boca Posted January 26, 2009 Author Posted January 26, 2009 Tony Barrett saying it's until the end of the season in the Echo.
Tones Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 He had loan offers in the summer and turned them down IIRC. He did and i thought at the time he should have taken a loan move. Will be good for him to get first team experience, in front of a decent crowd (compared to the reserves) and will also give Rafa etc a chance to see if he can make the step up to first team football. Will be interesting to see if he lives up to the hype around him (amongst Liverpool fans anyway)

Let's hope he's one that can step up, we need to start bringing a few given all the money we are spending on youngsters.
Bootle Buck Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 The thing that concerns me is that over the years very few youngsters who go out on loan ever get a chance. They usually end up in a lower division or back to their home country. I would have loved to have seen him on the bench and given a chance to get the odd 15 minutes here and there. Hopefully this kid can be an exception.

floyd the barber Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 doh...always the death of the youngster..you go out on loan, and there goes your career at anfield. I can only think of maybe 1 or 2 who went out on loan and actually made the grade at anfield..
Kvarme Ate My Food Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 It's his second cup we need to worry about he's got bags of talent.

Kvarme Ate My Food Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 leaf it out. he's tipped for greatness
cymrococh Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 (edited) Odd that he's gone on loan, there can't be many strikers left for the ressies with Jordy Brewer gone. Edited January 28, 2009 by Paul Caruso

Maldini Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Pacheco, Simon, Saric and Flora are all in the reserve squad and Eccleston and Della Valle should get a few games before the end of the season hopefully.

They can console themselves with an English Breakfast. Maybe the club can arrange some Twinnings with foreign sides who will take them. TEA! Edited January 28, 2009 by Paul Caruso
