I am 31, so I remember the great sides of the late 80's, but I was only a lad then.

I have already warned the wife that come May 24th after the game against Spurs that I will be missing in action for a week if we win the title.

The very thought of number 19 gives me goosebumps, and butterflies in my stomach.

I think I would climb into a barrell of Guinness and not get out.

How would you celebrate number 19?

i'll be waking up the next day with a big hangover taking a load of nurofen and getting a liverbird tattoo.

I'm 27 so I only really remember the 88, 90 title winning teams so after such a long time it would be fantastic to see us win the title. I'd probably go absolutely mental, screaming like a maniac then once I got back down to Earth a little, I'd go out celebrating drinking beer and whiskey and sticking it to my Manc friends.

If we are in with a shout of winning it i.e. win or draw a certain game then the league is Liverpool's.

If thats the case I will be booking the next day off work because I will be bouncing off walls and ceilings.

I don't know. I wasn't even 10 when we won it last, and barely remember the euphoria. It'll no doubt be on a par at least with Istanbul. This is the big one.

By the late 90s, when it was finally sinking in that the Mancs weren't just pretenders to our throne, and that the League wasn't ours by right, a few of us had a chat about how we had really become blase in the mid-late 80s [Think the Souness quote from the League winning side of 84: 'By our standards we were not good enough to win the League this year. By everybody elses we were'].

We agreed then that we would take a week off work to go on the ale to celebrate the next time we won it. Now it's another 10 years on and we all have kids, that ain't going to happen. But it will be one bloody good session.
