Its better to be in the dugout/technical area where he can communicate with the players. Its not that complicated chili

seriously though, is there any benefit to staying in the stands? I've always thought a manager would get a better view of the whole pitch.

thats why great managers like John gregory and Brian Little sit in the stand

Rafa's best position is clearly in the stands and with Xavi picking up the loose instructions and making forward runs and acting as provider for Sammy and Mauricio it is clear this formation works best.

Did anyone notice how pissed off he looked when some lady came over to get her photo taken with him during the game? Silly oul c*nt.......

Yeah, the way he talked to her, removed his earpiece and then posed for the photo, smiled and then gave a cheery wave was a clear example of how pissed off he looked.

^ Ha.

If I were a superstitious person, which I'm not, then I'd say stay in the stands. But seeing as I'm not, I'd say man up Rafa and get back down to the side lines.

One thing pisses me off about him being in the stands though... he acts like a daytripper and leaves the match 10 minutes before full time ffs. ;)

gormless bint!

Lucky for her Rafa is so damn polite. Cos really, she should have been told to fec off, or not even got as close to him in the first place. But I spose - directors box = no stewards!

I really don't know why rafa chooses to sit in the dugout - he can communicate with sammy and the players by phone or walkie talkie if necessary

would love to hear an informed answer that's not based on superstition

After our 2 best performances of the season?

I think its clear that he logs onto the match threads in YNWA to see what to do!

Got f**k all to do with it, it's because me and the wife were at both games.

time u gave the missus a treat of 18 more league games then before end of May, otherwise the title is gone. Obviously.

Has it f***, been drinking John Smiths out of a Liverpool pint glass all season, these two games are just a 'thank you', from the team, for all the effort I've been putting in. Too scared to buy any other drink now, better not smash the bloody glass either. At least until June.

I reckon he should just shout down to them. Or maybe write plans on some paper and make them into paper aeroplanes and hoy them down.

Wouldn't that be something? A Knight of the realm and five-time Olympic Gold medal winner relaying instructions to the bench!
